INGREDIENTS
1 kilo of ripe tomatoes
1 garlic clove cut into 3 pieces
1/4 sliced white onion
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
PREPARATION
Put 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a hot pan
Add the garlic clove and onion. Stir fry until the onion is translucent, it takes about 3 minutes
Add the tomatoes chunks in the blender, onion and garlic and strain.
Heat it up and add half of teaspoon of salt
When it starts boiling cook over medium-low heat for 20 minutes
Remove from stove an let it cool down
Store the sauce in glass jar. It will last up to a week in the refrigerator
You can freeze it in different size containers, it last up to 8 months in the freezer
